Prima Donna’s first world finals: six medals from Bled

June 2026 · Bled, Slovenia

Prima Donna ballet school took part in the World Dance Contest world finals for the first time. The performances in Bled, Slovenia, brought our students one first, two second and three third places.

Awards:

• 1st place — “Pizzicato”, classical ballet, Mini Duet/Trio.
• 2nd place — Hana Pampulova, character dance, Mini Solo.
• 2nd place — “Candyman”, jazz, Children Duet/Trio.
• 3rd place — Natalia Santos, lyrical, Children Solo.
• 3rd place — Sofia Pezhgorski, classical ballet, Mini Solo.
• 3rd place — “Hungarian Dance”, character dance, Children Duet/Trio.

For the school, this was an important step: our first encounter with a world final and an opportunity for our students to present their work alongside dancers from different countries.

The results reflect lengthy preparation, perseverance and attention to every performance. We thank the children, their families and everyone who supported our participation.

Bled will remain part of Prima Donna’s history as the place of our first world finals and our first medals from them.
