Yoan Grigorov

Yoan Grigorov

Conditioning coach

Conditioning coach | ISSA-certified personal trainer

Yoan Grigorov is a conditioning coach with five years of experience in individual physical training and three years of experience leading group sessions. He holds a personal trainer certification from ISSA — the International Sports Sciences Association. He works with children, adolescents and adults, including martial arts athletes and dancers.

Biomechanics has a particular place in his approach: how the body performs movement and how individual characteristics affect it. He pays attention not only to the result, but also to how it is achieved: how load is distributed, where stability is lost and how well a person controls their movement.

His personal experience with pain, together with his work and training with a specialist in biomechanics, pain and injury, has helped shape this approach. It has deepened his attention to feedback, gradual loading and the selection of exercises according to individual capabilities.

Training develops strength, balance, coordination and endurance, with particular attention to active control through large ranges of movement. Preparation is adapted to the age, level and workload of the students.

His aim is to help dancers build the physical qualities that support precise, confident and free movement in the studio and on stage.
