Seven Prima Donna dances qualify for the Dance World Cup finals

April 2025

Prima Donna ballet school presented 13 dances at the Bulgarian qualifier for Dance World Cup. Seven earned the right to take part in the world finals in Spain.

Qualifier results:

• 1st place — the “Pizzicato” quartet.
• 3rd place — Sofia Pezhgorski, classical ballet.
• 3rd place — Hana Pampulova, character dance.
• 3rd place — Natalia Santos and Sofia Pezhgorski, lyrical duet.
• 3rd place — “Polka”.
• 3rd place — a group show dance.
• 4th place — Natalia Santos and Nikol Nikolaeva, a duet from “La Fille mal gardée”.

After discussing organisation and preparation, we decided not to attend the finals that year and to focus our efforts on the following season.

Qualifying remained an important achievement in the school’s first year. Congratulations to all our students for their hard work, courage and support for one another throughout the competition.
