“The Sleeping Beauty”: an inspiring evening at Sofia Opera and Ballet

May 2025

Students from Prima Donna ballet school attended “The Sleeping Beauty” at Sofia Opera and Ballet. The full auditorium, applause and artists’ performances made the evening a special experience for the young audience.

The girls followed the action on stage with excitement, trying not to miss a single movement. The performances of Marta Petkova and Tsetso Ivanov made a particular impression.

Seeing the classical repertoire live complements studio training. It gives children an opportunity to observe a complete stage performance and discover new examples of technique, musicality and artistry.
