Fourteen Prima Donna dances qualified for the Dance World Cup finals

Prima Donna ballet school took part in the Bulgarian Dance World Cup qualifier and earned places at the world finals in Dublin with 14 dances: eight solo and six group performances.

Our group dances received the following awards:

• 1st place — “Cupids” from the ballet “Don Quixote”.
• 1st place — “Hungarian Dance”.
• 1st place — “Russian Dance”.
• 1st place — “Imagine”.
• 2nd place — “Candyman”.
• 2nd place — “Pizzicato”.

Qualifying for the solo programme at the finals were Sofia Pezhgorski with a variation from “La Fille mal gardée”, jazz and lyrical solos; Hana Pampulova with “Russian Gypsy Dance” and a jazz solo; and Natalia Santos with a variation from “Harlequinade”, lyrical and jazz solos. Nikol Nikolaeva was also included in the group performance team.

We thank Cool Bottles Bulgaria for their support and the personalised bottles bearing the Prima Donna ballet school logo, prepared for the trip.

Qualifying was an important step for the school and marked the beginning of intensive preparation for our appearance in Dublin.
